"I am often a solo diner and although the experience shouldn’t be any different it often is. The good things were: 1. I had a really good table right by the windows so had a spectacular view 2. The size of the tables were really generous 3. The price of the food and drink was good and I was permitted to take away the remainder of my bottle of wine 4. The cod and orange croquettes were a different take but were served with a tomato sauce which I thought slightly odd The things that could have been better were: 1. I wasn’t asked to taste the wine (it had a cork not screw top) 2. After the first glass no one topped my wine up 3. The traditional pork dish could have had some more sauce gravy"
