"We had appetite for tapas and we looked around what is so in the surroundings of Dissen and met the Los Amigos in Versmold on the Internet. So we called and reserved a table for 4 people. From the outside, the restaurant makes the impression of an old camp, some parking spaces are located right outside the door. When we entered, we felt like coming into a sports bar. In front of us the treses where some guests were sitting and watching football. The service welcomed us friendly and led us to the reserved table in the non-smoking area, which already sprayed a few Spanish flairs. We arrived there at 6:30 a.m. and the non-smoking room was still completely empty, it was also something cool, which I personally felt rather than pleasant. A little moment later, the service brought us the menus and already accepted the beverage order. In the meantime, we studied the menu that is clearly designed. There were 14 different tapas that we ordered almost all after our drinks, which were probably tempered, were served. We had ordered the potato omelet – how small pieces of cake cut, freshly prepared and tastefully good potato slices – simple potato slices as you get them everywhere. Was good, but now do not know what Spanish fried anchovies was – fresh fried anchovies, just delicious! Gambas al Ajillo – cooked in a pan. The gambs were well cooked, only the garlic sauce in which they were fried was a little fade, there were just some spices of garlic mushrooms – also served in the pan. The mushrooms could have fried a little longer, but the sauce in which they were fried was very good. Plum in the bacon coat – the classic, well fried and simply delicious Serrano ham and cheese – The Serrano was very good and the Spanish cheese was ok. Nothing special. Spanish olives – green and black olives with stone in oil. Quite ok Melone with ham – Honeymelon with Serrano, fresh and very ok Grilled Peperonis – mild Peperonis slightly salted freshly grilled very tasty tomatoes on garlic bread – resembled Bruschetta, but not so silly-kno-blue-chlasty crab Croquettes – Cancer meat in croquettes dough, finished from the bag, very okay but nothing special. I'm sorry for the names, but that's written by Bon, of course that sounds even better in Spanish. Overall, everything was pretty good, I somehow still have something sweet to finish, like goat cheese with honey or the like, but okay, you can't always have everything. Very solid kitchen performance, which my favorite tank in Hamburg cannot hold, but is highly recommended. The service gradually served us the tapas when the kitchen prepared them so that not everything was on the table and cold. In addition, the operation looked regularly to inquire the wishes and to delete the table without disturbing. Conclusion: A good Spaniard in the region can definitely recommend you even if there are some highlights missing. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and responds to the wishes of the guest. The atmosphere in the smoke area has a light sports bar/bone character, whether desired or not. The non-smoking area is very nice. The value for money is very good."
