"For lunch in the beer garden of the Alte Krug: pork fillet with fresh cake and salad. I was there for the last time about 35 years ago and I have to say, there was something. Not only the pub with the huge carvings, no, no, no. The filet was not on the map, as well as fresh matjes. But now for review: We were greeted super nicely, the store was full, but there was still room in the beer garden. There was a little greeting from the kitchen first. Then the main court came. The meat was soft butter, simple class. There were two big pieces. There were many paws. The roast potatoes were optional, they were made themselves. Tastefully everything was top. There was another schnapps on the house. Overall we were pleasantly surprised, both from the service and from the ambience and especially from the food. It does not take 35 years until the next visit. The place deserves full score. Go."

"Ascent 2011 we visited the inn for two. At 12.15 we entered the restaurant. The interior and the ambience together gave no inviting impression. We call space and were then served by an older woman (Chefin?). My wife ordered a carving, I got the spit with dumplings. The food had an average taste, nothing special just normal. The Klecks sauce on the plate was far enough for the corresponding knocks. We were there once, but not again. I would like to mention that it was clean and tidy there."
