"The hotel is located on a hill above a small town but is on a vineyard. The rooms are nice and efficient. The restaurant is magnificent and we had an exceptional meal. My husband had the 3-course meal which started with an amuse-bouche of asparagus panacota. The panacota was perfectly executed. I was quite impressed and was looking forward to the next couse. 2nd course was a fish over asparagus also delicious then came the palate cleanser a cucumber sorbet ... wow I could eat that everyday! The main meal was a very tender beef cheek and beef sous vide, less tender but tasty. As my main meal, I had the fish over risotto with asparagus which was a delight. We finished with a nice dessert. Overall a superb meal, best meal we ever had travelling in Germany. Congratulations to the talented Chef and thank you!"

Wir waren zum erstenmal im Ahr Vinum und werden jetzt öftres kommen Sehr zu empfehlen"

"This Biergarten-type restaurant seemed to be pretty popular. We could not find a place to sit outside so we settled for inside. We had beer and also one of the white wines they recommended on the summer menu. Since it was a German restaurant, I...went for one of my favorites, weißwurst with sweet mustard. It came with a big pretzel. We also ordered Matjes fish with green beans potatoes. It was all tasty. Service was also very pleasant. We enjoyed our meal there."
