"This place is pure gold the sweetest little food truck you can imagine with such hearty delish offerings. They make their own falafel and serve it on the freshest zaatar bread for a hearty meal. We also had the Roti Curry Bowl which was so flavorful, with a side of tzatziki. Hours are short (closes at 2 or when food runs out) but it is well worth popping by to see what is on offer. Cash only but an ATM right beside. Cute little patio to eat on. Best food we have come across on the island and not to be missed!!"

"Granted there are not a lot of restaurants on Galiano but that is one of the things we liked about the island...not commercial and touristy. That said, we loved the Hummingbird Pub! Had dinner there on the first night and enjoyed it enough to have dinner the second night (our last night). If you are looking for something fancy and exotic, don't go. The Hummingbird is a local hangout with good food and friendly people. Very casual. The fish and chips were great as was the burger. We also had dessert...their pies are great! And if you sit by the window you will see numerous hummingbirds flying back and forth to the feeder. It was perfect for us and we would certainly go back again!"
