"I visited this beautiful pub in a picturesque setting while passing through the village. However, I arrived alone and, unfortunately, couldn't get any service. It seems that if you're not a local, the bar staff might overlook you. I waited at the bar for 10 minutes, only for a local gentleman to walk past me and immediately be served. I've heard warnings about feeling unwelcome, and since moving locally, this experience is quite disappointing. I won't be visiting again."

"Waited at bar for service for over 15 minutes and was completely ignored. When asked the lady at bar said just a minute and then promptly tidied bar us rather than serve us. A man already sat at bar then asked her for a drink and she served him before us . As a consequence we walked out and will never return again ! We were trying to ascertain if it was a possibility for a family party but because of service will not be using again !"

"After a morning in the wilderness of wingham we came across this charming country pub and absolutely fell in love with the place child memory of what pubs earlier like came flooding. we had eaten what was nice and played a few games with our youngest son who was much fun. all staff were very friendly and welcoming. we look forward to returning and regular customers. many thanks to the employees and masters that we feel so welcome"
