"Stopped in for lunch while doing some errands and couldn't believe how good the sushi was! So grateful to have such a great option available in the little town of Agassiz! We've had a harder time finding good sushi in Vancouver! Loved the Sakura, Tarantula and Volcano rolls! Can't wait to come back and try more! THANK YOU!!!"

"This is such a perfect little restaurant, but it's too bad the service is sub-par, and the food is absolutely terrible. Ordered the Whiskey River Ribs, and the only redeeming food on the plate was the braised cabbage! The rice tasted like fruity pebbles. It tasted so sweet, it was gross. I'm not sure if that was done on purpose, but such a disappoint. The ribs were gross. The sauce on top was tasty enough, but the ribs lacked even the most basic of seasonings. They were somehow both dry, stringy and wet? Not moist, but wet. The baked brie is a great concept, but the whole clove of garlic was a pain in the butt to deal with."

"Dragon Fried Rice House has great Chinese food for a small town. My wife and I have eaten there several time and enjoy the food each time. My wife is from Hong Kong so she knows her Chinese cuisine and loves their food. The only complaint that I have with them are their hours of service. They're only open Tuesday to Friday. Closed the weekend and Mondays. So if you're in town though the week then I definitely recommend the Dragon Fried Rice House"

"Agassiz is a small place with no big chain Coffee places. So we found Heritage coffee house. Great atmosphere and staff and great food. Coffee was good and refills were 25c. We had a great salad for lunch and while we didn't have the baked goods lots of people were. A great price point to set in a beautiful garden with lots of shade areas from the sun."
In nice weather you can even eat in the outdoor area.

"We recently held in Agassiz for a “stop, walkabout and lunch” on our way to Harrison Hot Springs. It was a very warm day on the jump, and ’Jimmy’s Pub’ seemed like the right place to catch a ‘cooling’ rest stop, with drinks and ’snack’ lunch. It was a first experience for us. Once inside, after a short look over, a large table back and next to the front window, grabbed our attention and worked well for the stay. Service was prompt and personal friendly. Drinks quickly arrived (OK Springs caught Ales for daughter I, ice water for mom, were cool and refreshing and allowed us to relax before the food arrived. We ordered a complete order of “nachos”, which is quite huge, and well stacked with various types of tortillas chips, chopped tomatoes, cut olives, cheese, cut green onion jalapeno paprika, and those with two diving sauce (sour cream a salsa on the side. We enjoyed our experience in the “Jimmy’s Pub” – service was friendly, drinks cool, tastefully tasty (and “ouch” – sometimes also a spicy!! A relaxed stop for us in Agassiz. Note: The facility will soon have a name change — customers have contributed to a “What should we call our place” survey on the service counter left."

"Super cool place, highly recommended. Especially if you're looking for a birthday gift for someone that is not just a regular boring item, they have amazing flavours of drinks and candies, lots of interesting items for sale. The owner is super friendly and the California burrito wrap was delicious possibly one of the top 5 greatest french fries in the Fraser Valley."
