"Absolutely a tremendous discovery close to our hotel! Lovely family restaurant in terms of beauty and charm but what really is special was the food. The best branzino I have every had. We also chose several of the tapas, small plates. Each one was Devine. Yes, all the food was so extraordinary, until I chose the tiramisu and the pana cota. Honestly, these were the most delicious desserts I could have every wanted. I know I am in Italy. I know tiramisu is special in Venice, but I never imagined how good these desserts can be! Go here if you can. You will lover every minute of you experience! Cheers!!"

"It took a while between being seated and receiving any service. The waiter who took our order seemed quite unfriendly as we didn't particularly want the dishes brought out in any order. When the food arrived we had half of the next table's order and we started eating one of the dishes which we thought was ours. When we realised it wasn't he asked us why we were eating it if we hadn't ordered it!!! He then blamed his son for mixing up the order. Found a hair in the squid ink cuttlefish too, but they replaced it. Food overall was OK but my friend was put off from eating because of the service."

"We stumbled upon this charming, small restaurant on our way back from Fondamente Nove. (Head down a small alleyway, not the main thoroughfare) It has a small outside enclosed terrace which was, sadly, too chilly at this time of year. Had a delicious lunch of the freshest scampi and squid, with a lovely green salad of the freshest variety of leaves (I know, but a good salad is a rarity in Venice). A really good half bottle of wine as they don't sell by the glass, and friendly service. We headed back on our last night but forgot to check opening hours (closed Wednesdays). Greatly disappointed but plan to return on my next trip. They have an accomplished cook in their kitchen, unlike so many Venetian restaurants."

"The spaghetti is enormous and the lasagne is the normal size. Baked seafood smell delicious and taste good. the brot is so good that we are all done! my friend said it serves the best tiramisu, but I think it's a bit too dry for me."
