"Booked a family room and when we got there there was only a double bed in the room. There was an interconnecting door but it was locked. unfortunately we ad arrived late and there was no staff so half the family had to stay in a nearby caravan park. They should have explained that there was 2 rooms when we booked and made sure that the door was unlocked. The included breakfast was basic but quality.The gardens are beautiful and well kept. Rooms were spacious and clean. Once we actually got access to the room it was a good experience."

"The first time I went to the lighthouse I felt the atmosphere very dull,the decor and furniture dull.I could see the play area was very colourful.I think the place needs a touch of colour,maybe red napkins to liven up the tables.When I received my meal I was oblivious to the setting and wow,what a seafood platter and I keep coming back.The food is great value for money and fresh."

"Very obliging staff who make it their mission to cater for all dietary requirements. Our lunch party included 3 vegans and we were well looked after vegetable gnocchi, veggie panini, apple and sultana strudel and complimentary bliss balls! Our meaty friend had an enormous all day breakfast that covered all the essentials (and an obscene amount of bacon) while my 14yr old played it safe with a cheese toastie and chocolate berry lava cake with coulis and cream. Josef Chromy wine and Becks beer kept us chipper. The atmosphere is always laid back at this cafe with pleasing rustic decor and a gift shop. Again, the staff are to be commended on their 'table side ' manner and vegan friendly ease."

"Went here once to eat lunch and once for a function we booked for a celebration. Prices for the function were very reasonable. A flat rate room fee and from then per head for food with 4 teir food packages to choose from. Bronze through to gold. And just $2 per head cakeage. There were av facilities we used a large projector screen to show photos from a laptop and we didn't use the speakers though they no doubt would have been suitable. The food and service was fantastic quality and plenty. although a lazy Sunday afternoon and only us in the entire restaurant the staff didn't rush us out or pressure us to leave. I'd love to give 5 stars but honestly it was difficult to get return correspondence from the restaurant manager when trying to iron out the details as to what was included and not in the fees. We even went in to approach him personally to ask and the wait staff relayed his message that we would have to make an appointment to see him."
