"Must admit we have been frequenting this café since it opened and like all things new took time to settle in with cooks, staff etc.We have lunch here prior to our fortnightly food shop as its a 50 kilometre round trip for us we use it as an outing. Slowly we're working our way through the menu; so far everything we've tried has been good no disasters. Food is always hot and promptly served and the chips are really really good. Unsure what they cook them up but are always fresh never soggy.We have had quite meals, we have had family meals with grandchildren all enjoyable. What prompted this review is that last week we had our 2 yr old granddaughter with us and as children do, she fell asleep and not wanting to wake her we settled on takeaway, we can recommend the hot beef roll with gravy, very enjoyable.We were not aware that they did takeaway as we have usually enjoyed their "Quite" area of the café, this is separated from the main table area with comfortable lounges as well as tables. Their takeaway coffee is just as good as their dine in coffee and was much appreciated.There were trades people calling in and collecting orders and we asked what was this service and were informed that you can pre-order your coffee and food and they have a loyalty card as well. This was something that the workers in the area obviously use quite a bit; another testimony to the quality of both their coffee and food. We have noted that since Maccas opened they are quieter; which is such a shame as we need to support local business as well as multi nationals and their food and service is good value. We have found over the years that both our 5 children and our 9 grandchildren do appreciate and enjoy being taken to cafes and restaurants for a snack or a meal. A café setting allows them to understand about behaviour and how you have to wait for food to be cooked and served on plates with cutlery. The younger ones often ask to go to "flavour" as a treat. Maybe that sums it up :)"
