"We were adults and a child and we ordered the family dish. It was more than enough for us and extremely delicious. Also, we received the food in max min. I don’t know things regarding the rooms, but we really recomand the restaurant....Have a nice trip"

"“Gasthof Goldener Löwe” turned out to be a gem one would not expect in such a small town. Its dining room is harmoniously decorated in a rustic style. Even the bar area it contains is smoke-free, which is exceptional in Austria. Service was friendly, attentive, but not obtrusive.The menu was dominated by meat dishes among which game played an important part. Without being excessively comprehensive, it nonetheless offered a sufficiently wide choice. It consisted not mainly of the ubiquitous variants of Schnitzel, but comprised for the most part creatively devised dishes. Furthermore, there was a separate list of dishes of the week. Prices were absolutely fair, some dishes (such as steaks) were even bargains.We enjoyed the calm atmosphere of that place and did not have to wait long for our meals. Portions were decently sized. Most importantly, the food was really delicious. For instance, it was astonishing how well such a simple dish as pasta with porcini filling tasted in this restaurant."

"Wie kann das Webergut mit einem unausgeschlafenen und noch leicht verkaterten Gast, der mit zu einer Famielienfeier musste umgehen. Erstaunlich gut. Das Webergut befindet sich gut versteckt in der Stanz, vom Ort Kindberg gut 5 Kilometer entfernt. Die Einfahrt ist leider schlecht beschildert, man kann ihn schnell übersehen. Überhaupt scheint es unwahrscheinlich, dass sich Nichteinheimische in die Gegend verirren. Von außen her ist ein recht neuer Holzbau. Innen haben wir eine Mischung aus neuen Holz, sowie alten Tischen. Wirkt alles sehr urig und gefällt. Die Gaststube ist zwischen Raucher und Nichtsüchtler unterteilt. Die Speisekarte ist recht übersichtlich gestaltet bietet Großteils regionale Gerichte. Neben den Hauptspeißen gibt es einiges an Jausen, wie man es sonst von den Häurigen gewohnt ist. Der Preis ist okay. Qualität und Quantität in Ordnung. Einziges Manko. Die Speißen wurden etwas zeitversetzt serviert. Geht aber vermutlich von der Küche nicht anders. Auch das Gemüse, welches zwar knacken war, hätte etwas mehr Temperatur vertragen. Das Service hatte bei einem fast leeren Lokal natürlich keine Probleme, war aber aufmerksam und auf Zack. Es fiel auf, daß wir gleich per du waren. Der letzte Beweis, daß das Lokal am Ende der Welt liegt.Es gibt diverse saisonelle Angebote (Wildwochen). Diese sollten recht gut besucht sein, sodass sich eine Reservierung empfiehlt. Sollte sich also einmal jemand in die Gegend Kindberg/Stanz verirren, so kann man beim Webergut nicht viel falsch machen"
